As well as being down to workers generallu moving company more frequently and as such losing track of their pension funds, this problem has been exacerbated by companies changing their name or ceasing trading.
As expats this subject is even more of an issue, as we tend to move more often and documents can get lost in transit. It is also easier to forget about the pension that you were paying into 15 years ago, when you are enjoying the expat lifestyle in Dubai.
