Rates for voluntary National Insurance Contributions (NICs) will increase as off the 8th of April 2012. British expats who want to boost their UK state pension entitlement will now need to pay the following:
- Class 2 Self Employed Contributions – GBP2.65 per week.
- Class 3 Voluntary Contributions – GBP13.25 per week.
